Pride of place this week must go to Pock Town's 4th team. With Suggie having his biggest squad to pick from so far this season they recorded their first win, playing at home to North Burton in a Driffield League match. Pock were soon in control of the game with goals from Wayne Bradder and Karl Laverick giving them a two goal lead at halftime. North Burton got themselves back into the match after Town failed to defend a long throw in. However their lead was quickly restored with Aiden Marsh
Pock Town 2nds gave a disappointing display away at Easingwold Town in a York League match. Town never really found any form with the home team being too strong for them on the day, going down 2-1. Town's only goal was courtesy of an own goal and the
only real bright spot of the day was the debut, as a sub, of youngster Gary Marriott who played really well. Serg will want more from his team this week when they play at home to Nestle Rowntrees.

A much better day for Pock Town 3rds who were at home to Nestle Rowntree's 2nd team. The 3rds dominated the game from start to finish taking a very early lead when a Donkin corner was converted by Durkin who was making his first start of the season. Town created chance after chance with Morrell and Barker both hitting the woodwork and Donkin going close twice, but goals did come from Barker who was played in by Bradley and then Downey with a smart header. Barker then added a fourth before Franklin rounded the keeper to make it 5-0 to the 3rds. Rowntrees never really troubled the Town keeper and it was a comfortable win for Town with Donkin and Durkin running the midfield. Andy will be looking for much more of the same this week when they play away at York R I.
