THE famous ballet takes place on Christmas Eve, when a mysterious Nutcracker doll leads Clara on a fantastic journey through exotic lands. Clara and her handsome prince meet the beautiful Sugar Plum Fairy, battle with the wicked Mouse King and dance through a magical land of snowflakes in this classic tale.

The production is brought vividly to life with classical ballet, colourful costumes, lighting and spectacular sets.

The Northern Ballet Theatre Orchestra plays Tchaikovsky’s famous score including The Waltz Of The Flowers and The Dance Of The Sugar Plum Fairy.
