The Terriers have failed to beat the Hatters in their last three attempts, with their last meeting ending in a 1-1 draw at the John Smith's Stadium that saw star loanee Carel Eiting score a second-half equaliser to help his side snatch a point.
As things stand, just three points separate the two side in the league table, and it should be an intriguing contest between two well-matched sides who, at just past the half-way point of the season, could see their respective campaigns still go either way.
Meanwhile, it was a fairly underwhelming transfer deadline day for the Terriers, with former Fleetwood Town goalkeeper Jayson Leutwiler becoming the club's only signing. In terms out outgoings, promising young defender Mustapha Olagunju was sent out on loan to League Two side Port Vale.
However, as a whole, it was a successful month of business for the club, with five further players been snapped up on permanent deals, including the likes of exciting prospect Sorba Thomas, and ex-Newcastle United man Rolando Aarons.
Here's our round-up of all the latest news and transfer talk including Huddersfield Town and a number of their divisional rivals, as we gear up for another busy weekend of second-tier action:
