Woman hit by double-decker bus in Leeds city centre
A WOMAN was rushed to hospital after being hit by a double-decker bus in Leeds.
The pedestrian, believed to be around 45 years old, suffered a serious head injury from the incident, which happened at the junction of Marsh Lane and York Street at around 1.50pm today.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said the injuries were believed to be serious but not life-threatening.
York Street was closed from the Marsh Lane junction shortly after the incident and buses were being diverted.
