Wreckage found in search for missing USAF pilot off Flamborough Head
The Humber Coastguard helicopter and RNLI lifeboats from Bridlington, Scarborough and Whitby are all still searching the crash site 74 miles off Flamborough Head.
A United States Air Force pilot is still missing after his F-15 Eagle aircraft ditched into the sea at 9.40am on Monday morning.

Hide AdHe was flying in formation with three other F-15s out of their home base, RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk, as part of a routine exercise.
RAF Lakenheath, where the formation's unit, 48th Fighter Wing, known as Liberty Wing, confirmed that wreckage had been found this afternoon but there is no sign of the pilot.

A body found washed up on an isolated beach at Grimston in East Yorkshire this morning is not connected to the incident.
The Daily Telegraph reported that the three other F-15s landed safely back at RAF Lakenheath, although one appeared to have damage to its canopy.
