Five warders face trial over plot to smuggle mobile phones into Wakefield Jail
It is alleged that the officers failed to notify prison authorities that inmate Brian McBride had a mobile phone.
The offences allegedly took place between June 1 2008 and September 30 2009.

Hide AdLeeds Crown Court heard today that the accused will next appear in court for a plea and case management hearing on May 25. A provisional trial date has been set for September 3. The trial is expected to last two to three weeks.
The accused are all from West Yorkshire. They are: Karen Cosford, 47, of Altofts, Normanton; Carolyn Falloon, 50, of Walton, Wakefield; Jacqueline Flynn, 46, of South Kirby, Pontefract; David Sunderland, 49, of Lofthouse, Wakefield; and Kevin Wilson, 56, of Normanton.
They are all charged with wilfully neglecting to perform their duty and wilfully misconducting themselves in public office.
All five were remanded on bail.
